Coxsackie virus or hand,foot and mouth disease .A viral infection that usually begins in the throat. It may affect upper palates, tonsils, skin, gastrointestinal tract and central nervous system. Babies and infants (below the age of 3) are the most affected. The disease is mostly caused by Coxsackie virus A16. Coxsackie belongs to a group of enteroviruses. Other eneteroviruses may also cause this disease. This disorder got its name since it causes red rash on palms and soles, along with painful blisters in the mouth.
Rash on the arms and legs, ulcers in the mouth, fever, nervousness.
Anamnesis and physical examination will be performed.

Treatment includes: paracetamol, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (brufen/ibuprofen, naproxen), oral intake of fluids.
