Subconjunctival hemorrhage or blood covering white part of the eye. The blood is accumulating below the lining of the white of the eye. This lining is called conjunctiva and disorder occurs when small blood vessels in the conjutiva burst and bleed. This can happen with or without injuries and can appear after heavy coughing and sneezing. There are few symptoms and often patients notice only the blood in the morning or someone else notices it and not the patient. The disorder occurs more often in people who take anticoagulant medicines or those whose blood is difficultly clotting.
