Doc. Dr Marijana Popović Bajić graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 2008. She passed her specialist exam in the field of Dental Pathology and Endodontics in 2016. In the same year, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled "The influence of amelogenin, growth factors, and novel nanostructured materials based on calcium silicate cements on pulp regeneration," earning the academic title of Doctor of Dental Sciences.

She has been employed at the Clinic for Dental Pathology, Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, since 2010, and has held the academic title of Assistant Professor since 2023, teaching the subjects of Preclinical Dental Pathology, Restorative Odontology, Preclinical Endodontics, and Endodontics.

Dr. Popović Bajić actively participates in scientific research as well as in conducting both practical and theoretical teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialist levels. She continuously improves her professional and scientific knowledge by attending national and international symposia and conferences, where she has presented dozens of scientific papers. She is the author of one chapter in three international monographs, nine papers published in international journals with an impact factor, twelve papers published in leading national journals, and two textbook chapters for undergraduate and specialist dental studies.

Since 2015, she has been a member of the dental care team for patients with hemophilia. She is a member of the Serbian Dental Society (SLD), the Endodontic Section of the Serbian Dental Society, the Association of Endodontists of Serbia, and the European Society of Endodontology (ESE).
