Laser epilation as a permanent solution for unwanted hair

Laser epilation as a permanent solution for unwanted hair

Laser epilation is one of the modern aesthetic treatments that is used to remove unwanted hair from the body and face in a completely efficient and non-invasive way. If you're tired of shaving, waxing or using an epilator then laser hair removal is a treatment you should consider.

For performing this treatment are used specialized lasers that use concentrated light beams to target melanin - the pigment in the hair follicle. In this way, the rays are converted into heat that destroys the hair follicle and hair root itself and prevents or reduces regrowth without damaging the skin.

The treatment is more effective for people with darker body hair and light skin, but there are more advanced lasers that give the same results on lighter hair and other skin types. The advantage of the treatment is that it offers permanent results, it's fast, and precise, and helps to improve the skin's appearance. The day before the treatment it's necessary to shave the hairs from the region that will be treated, and a few days before the arrival it is necessary to stay away from the sun, use depilatory creams, and remove hairs with wax, in order to preserve the hair follicles. Before treatment, lasers need to be adapted to your skin and hair type and tested on a smaller area to determine that it is ideal for you. During the treatment, you need to wear protective glasses to protect the eyes from the laser light, and they need to apply cooling gel on your skin to reduce discomfort from the burning sensation. Laser hair removal needs to be done in multiple treatments, usually 6 to 8 treatments, but it depends on the individual, also winter is the ideal time to start these treatments to get your skin ready for summer. After treatment, we can't expose skin to direct sunlight and it is necessary to use creams with SPF.

Like every other treatment laser hair removal also has possible side effects such as appearance in the form of redness or swelling, and complications are rare if the treatment is not performed by an expert and there are appearances in the form of hyperpigmentation and scars. Because of this, the treatment needs to be done by professionally trained staff in beauty salons or medical-aesthetic clinics, and before the treatment itself, it's necessary to consult with a dermatologist or a trained technician to make sure that this treatment is the ideal solution for us.

Laser epilation is ideal treatment for effective solution of complete hair removal. Besside an aesthetically more beautiful appearance of the skin, this treatment improves the quality of the skin without damage and also solves our constant worries about unwanted hair.
